What is in2play, in one sentence?
One free app where pickleball players find and host games, run their Group, log games and keep their stats, and share with people who actually play.
Is it really free?
Yes. No ads, no premium tier, no paywall. You sign up with a name and an @username, and everything in the app is yours to use.
Do I need a DUPR rating?
No. Nothing in in2play needs a rating. If you already have a DUPR or UTR-P number you can add it to your profile, where it’s shown as self-reported. in2play doesn’t connect to those services or create ratings of its own.
Is it a social network?
Only for pickleball. The Social tab shows posts, photos and comments from players near you and the people you follow. There are no ads and nothing from outside the sport.
What do you do with my data?
As little as possible. Only an approximate area is used to show you sessions nearby, never your exact position. Your games are visible to the people you played them with, and your stats are private unless you share them. You can export or delete your account from Settings in the app, or from the deletion page. The details are in the privacy policy.
Which sports?
Pickleball, only. Doubles, singles, open play, rec night. We’d rather do one sport properly than ten badly.
How do I join a game from a share link?
The host shares the session’s link (it looks like in2play.app/s/…). Tap it: if you have the app, the session opens and you can say you’re in 2 play. If you don’t, the link shows you where to get the app; install it, sign in, then tap the link again. The usual rules still apply, so a Women’s session or a skill range stays as the host set it.
How do I join a Group?
A member shares an invite link or a six-letter code. Open the Groups tab, tap Join with code, and you’re in. Groups are private by default, so there’s nothing to search for until someone invites you.
Can I log games I played somewhere else?
Yes. My sessions has a private calendar for games outside in2play, so your week looks right even when the game wasn’t organized here. Only confirmed in2play games count toward stats and XP.
